 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. A RARE SITATUNGA ANTELOPE DIES AFTER CHOKING ON A PROHIBITED FOOD PACKAGE AT A TENNESSEE ZOO. (PHOTO).

 A rare Sitatunga Antelope dies after choking on a prohibited food package at a Tennessee zoo.


A Sitatunga Antelope named Leif, passed away Saturday at Bright's Zoo after choking on a container for squeezable apple sauce. 


David Bright, the owner of the zoo, says Leif was very people friendly and curious.  He said if someone threw or handed him something he would check it out. 


Zoo staff noticed he was in distress and had a vet at the facility within 20 minutes, despite their best efforts to remove the package from his throat, Leif passed away.


Bright went on to say that this was the very reason for food restrictions within the park. He reminded everyone there are designated picnic areas for guests to enjoy snacks.
