 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. A WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER SHE TOLD HER BOYFRIEND'S CHILDREN TO STAND IN VERY HOT WATER, CAUSING THEM BURNS AND SEIZURES. (PHOTO).


 Ohio woman in custody after forcing her boyfriend's children to stand in scalding hot water causing serious burns and seizures. 


22-year-old Malynda Harrison was taken into custody on Sunday after an investigation into a June 6 incident.


On that day first responders were called to a home in Guyan Township, Ohio to the report of a 5-year-old girl suffering from a seizure. Once on scene the EMS workers noticed the young girl had sustained severe burns to a large portion of her body. The child was immediately transported to Huntington, Ohio, for treatment. 


Police began an investigation and soon uncovered evidence suggesting the girl's condition was a direct result of Harrison's actions. According to police Harrison is in a relationship with the father of the children and was watching them when the incident occurred. During an Interveiw with officers Harrison admitted to placing the 5-year-old and her 4-year-old sister in a tub filled with scalding water and physically restraining them to keep them from exiting.  The 4-year-old also suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns. 


Malynda Harrison is being charged with 2 counts of Felony child endangerment and is being held on $500,000 bond.
