 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. A WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER SHE TOLD HER BOYFRIEND'S CHILDREN TO STAND IN VERY HOT WATER, CAUSING THEM BURNS AND SEIZURES. (PHOTO).

 Ohio woman in custody after forcing her boyfriend's children to stand in scalding hot water causing serious burns and seizures. 


22-year-old Malynda Harrison was taken into custody on Sunday after an investigation into a June 6 incident.


On that day first responders were called to a home in Guyan Township, Ohio to the report of a 5-year-old girl suffering from a seizure. Once on scene the EMS workers noticed the young girl had sustained severe burns to a large portion of her body. The child was immediately transported to Huntington, Ohio, for treatment. 


Police began an investigation and soon uncovered evidence suggesting the girl's condition was a direct result of Harrison's actions. According to police Harrison is in a relationship with the father of the children and was watching them when the incident occurred. During an Interveiw with officers Harrison admitted to placing the 5-year-old and her 4-year-old sister in a tub filled with scalding water and physically restraining them to keep them from exiting.  The 4-year-old also suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns. 


Malynda Harrison is being charged with 2 counts of Felony child endangerment and is being held on $500,000 bond.
