 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS NAF PERSONNEL IN ONDO JET CRASH, ORDERS THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF THE MISHAP   President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound sadness over the crash on Monday morning of a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 jet near a naval base in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State.   The aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos when the accident occurred.   The President extends his deepest condolences to the family of the 25 passengers and seven crew members involved, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, and all officers, airmen and airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force.   "This is a painful moment for our Armed Forces and for the entire nation. A WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER SHE TOLD HER BOYFRIEND'S CHILDREN TO STAND IN VERY HOT WATER, CAUSING THEM BURNS AND SEIZURES. (PHOTO).

 Ohio woman in custody after forcing her boyfriend's children to stand in scalding hot water causing serious burns and seizures. 


22-year-old Malynda Harrison was taken into custody on Sunday after an investigation into a June 6 incident.


On that day first responders were called to a home in Guyan Township, Ohio to the report of a 5-year-old girl suffering from a seizure. Once on scene the EMS workers noticed the young girl had sustained severe burns to a large portion of her body. The child was immediately transported to Huntington, Ohio, for treatment. 


Police began an investigation and soon uncovered evidence suggesting the girl's condition was a direct result of Harrison's actions. According to police Harrison is in a relationship with the father of the children and was watching them when the incident occurred. During an Interveiw with officers Harrison admitted to placing the 5-year-old and her 4-year-old sister in a tub filled with scalding water and physically restraining them to keep them from exiting.  The 4-year-old also suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns. 


Malynda Harrison is being charged with 2 counts of Felony child endangerment and is being held on $500,000 bond.
