 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECORDS YET ANOTHER BREAKTHROUGH INTERCEPTS A GUN RUNNER AND RECOVERS THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE LIVE CARTRIDGES



On 15/6/2024 by 1:30 pm, Police Operatives attached to Fegge division while on patrol along Niger Street, Onitsha arrested one Felix Owaya ‘M’ aged 48yrs of Ika south LGA of Delta State and recover three hundred and Seventy-Five live cartridges. 


During interrogation, the suspect confessed that he was sent by one Mr Charles Ogboma to a man he is yet to mention to collect the ammunition. Meanwhile, the investigation is still ongoing. 


The Commissioner of Police, *CP Nnaghe Obono Itam*, while commending Police Officers who made the recovery for their vigilance and tenacity of purpose directs all personnel in the Command to sustain the tempo of crime prevention and detection in service of the people of the State.
