 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. POLICE OFFICER PASSES AWAY IN THE LINE OF DUTY 18 YEARS AFTER HIS FATHER PASSED AWAY THE SAME WAY. (PHOTO).

 Arizona police officer passes away in the line of duty 18 years after his father passed away the same way.


24-year-old Josh Briese passed away Saturday morning after responding to a disturbance. As police responded, gunfire erupted striking Briese and another officer with Gila River PD. Four other people were also struck by the rounds including 23-year-old Alicen Apkaw, who also passed away as a result of her injuries. The other victims were treated for their injuries and are in stable condition.


After the deadly incident, the Gila River Indian Comunity Council suspended all dances. 


Officer Briese had been with the department for less than a year and half. He was following in the footsteps of his father who was also a law enforcement officer.


Sadly, his father Dave Briese also passed away in the line of duty. He was involved in a vehicle crash while responding to a call in November of 2006.


Our thoughts are with this family who have lost two loved ones in the service of others. We are also thinking of Alicen's family.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
