 You Are Heaven Bound - Franklin Graham Tells Trump in Letter Shared on Palm  Donald Trump has shared a personal letter from evangelist Franklin Graham, saying it offers reassurance about his spiritual future and his path to heaven. The former president posted the letter on Truth Social on March 29 to mark Palm Sunday, the Christian holy day observed one week before Easter.  The note, dated October 15, 2025, was sent after Trump helped broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and the return of hostages. In the letter, Graham, a longtime ally and son of the late preacher Billy Graham, praised Trump’s role in the breakthrough. “Congratulations! The cease-fire between Israel and Hamas and the hostages being returned home are incredible accomplishments. Your leadership is historic,” Graham wrote.  “This is an answer to much prayer.  Court Upholds Ado Bayero’s Rights, Awards N10m Against Kano Govt


A Federal High Court in Kano has awarded N10 million compensation to Emir Aminu Ado Bayero over the order for his arrest and eviction from the palace.


Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf had dethroned Ado Bayero last month and ordered him to hand over power within 48 hours.


But Ado Bayero, who was out of Kano at the time the order was given, returned and moved into the mini palace in Nasarawa.


Irked by the development, Governor Yusuf ordered his immediate arrest.


The 15th Emir of Kano had headed for the court to challenge Yusuf’s action.


Ado Bayero also asked the court to nullify the law through which the governor deposed him and reinstated Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.


Respondents in the suit were the Attorney-General of the Federation, the Attorney General of Kano State, the Nigeria Police Force, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), the Commissioner of Police in Kano, the State Security Service (SSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Air force, and the Nigerian Navy.

Delivering judgment on Friday, Justice Simon Amobeda held that his court had jurisdiction to hear and entertain the matter being fundamental rights enforcement application.


He also averred that Ado Bayero has the liberty and legal right to move freely and live anywhere in Kano or elsewhere in Nigeria.


The court, however, declined to order eviction of Sanusi from the Gidan Rumfa palace.


Counsel to Kano state government and Sanusi, Ibrahim Isa Wangida, described the judgement as a victory for the emir and his admirers as the court did not void the law that warranted Sanusi’s reinstatement.


He said he would consult his clients on whether or not they will appeal the award of N10 million against them.


Counsel to Ado Bayero, Abdulrazaq Ahmad, said he had been vindicated by the judgement that the court has inherent powers to hear and determine the case and that the fundamental rights of his client were breached or about to be breached.


He said the judgement has restrained the state government or any security agencies from breaching the rights of the emir.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
