 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site.  GOV. ALIA'S GOVERNMENT BANS SGF's AKUME THANKSGIVING IN BENUE 



The Benue State Government has banned the thanksgiving service organised in honour of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume which is to take place on Sunday June 30. The ban was announced on Radio Benue, the State Government owned media on Friday. According to the report, the Caretaker Chairman of Guma Local Government, Hon. Unongu Simon issued the ban of the thanksgiving event in honor of SGF citing the ban on political gathering in the state by the governor and volatile security in the area.


Meanwhile, the Central Planning Committee Chairman, and the former Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Barrister Dave Iorhemba says the event will hold as planned noting that they have not violated any law of the state. He urged the public to disregard the ban on the thanksgiving. It will the recalled that Pastor and Elders of NKST Church Daudu-Mbawa in Guma Local Government Area, had announced that they will organise a Thanksgiving Service and Grand Reception in honour of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.


The Central Planning Committee Chairman, and the former Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Barrister Dave Iorhemba in a statement noted that the thanksgiving service will take place on Sunday, June, thirty at NKST Church Daudu. At 10am. The statement urged the public, party supporters and well-wishers to attend the thanksgiving service to pray for SGF to succeed on his assignment.
