There were concern on social media on Monday after reports emerged that she had been arrested and detained. In a post shared on X, human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, confirmed she was detained by the police but was released in the early hours of today after much deliberations.  "I can love five women at once" - Singer Ruger


Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has opened up about his romantic life.

In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Ruger revealed his unique ability to love multiple women simultaneously, stating,

“I can fall in love with five different women at the same time. I don’t know if it’s possible for others but I can do it. And I will actually love them, not infatuation.”

Ruger shared that he falls in love easily, with gifts and compliments significantly influencing his feelings. “It’s just easy for me to fall in love. Gifts and compliments make me develop feelings for ladies. I really appreciate gifts and compliments,” he explained.

Ruger also clarified his musical versatility, stating, “I can do every other thing [genre of music] but I am an Afrobeats artiste.”
