 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Pop star Justin Timberlake has been arrested in New York on charges related to driving while intoxicated, as per reports.


Media reports stated that the singer was apprehended in Sag Harbor, an affluent village in the Hamptons, Long Island—a popular summer destination for celebrities.


Timberlake, 43, who was set to embark on a global tour for his sixth album, ‘Everything I Thought It Was’, is expected to be formally charged shortly. 


Justin Timberlake is a former member of boy band NSYNC. Timberlake has made a significant impact as an actor, songwriter, and one of the world's best-selling music artists. 


This arrest comes just days before Timberlake was scheduled to perform two shows in Chicago this weekend, followed by a show at New York’s Madison Square Garden next Tuesday. Timberlake's arrest could potentially affect the planned schedule of his tour, reports stared.


In addition to his music career, Timberlake has also garnered acclaim for his acting roles in films such as ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Friends With Benefits’. As a 10-time Grammy winner, his influence spans across multiple entertainment industries.
