 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja.  Obama attacks Trump, says he lies through his teeth for his own benefit


Former U.S. President, Barack Obama says the November presidential election is between someone who knows right from wrong and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit.

Obama was referring to last night’s Presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former president, Donald Trump.

Biden had a disastrous outing during the debate eliciting anger and doubt from some Democrats if he would be able to defeat Trump in November.

Obama is referring to Trump as someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit and Biden as someone who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight.

The former president in a tweet on X on Friday said bad debate nights do happen, but said the November election is between someone (Biden) who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone (Trump) who only cared about himself.

Obama wrote: “Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself.

“Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
