 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Obama attacks Trump, says he lies through his teeth for his own benefit


Former U.S. President, Barack Obama says the November presidential election is between someone who knows right from wrong and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit.

Obama was referring to last night’s Presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former president, Donald Trump.

Biden had a disastrous outing during the debate eliciting anger and doubt from some Democrats if he would be able to defeat Trump in November.

Obama is referring to Trump as someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit and Biden as someone who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight.

The former president in a tweet on X on Friday said bad debate nights do happen, but said the November election is between someone (Biden) who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone (Trump) who only cared about himself.

Obama wrote: “Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself.

“Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”
