 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults. He expressed sympathy to affected families and reiterated his administration’s resolve to confront criminal elements.  ‘Olu Jacobs Is Alive And Doing Fine,’ Joke Silva Dispels Rumours Of Husband’s Dëäth


‘Olu Jacobs is alive’ – Betty Irabor, family debunk reports of Nollywood actor’s death

Founder of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor, has debunked news making the rounds that Nollywood veteran, Olu Jacobs, is dead.

There were rumours on social media that the seasoned thespian passed away at 82 years on Sunday.

Jacobs had been battling dementia for a while now.

But Irabor tweeted: “Olu Jacobs is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing.”

Jacobs’ family has also released a video to prove that the actor is alive.

Speaking last year, his wife, Joke Silva, said Jacob’s ailment had brought significant changes in her man.

She said: “It hasn’t been easy. There was a point of acceptance for me that everything happening is reality and it is like the person I married, 80 per cent of the time is no longer there.”

If this video is today then Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
