 Drones hit east Congo's biggest city, killing French aid worker, rebels and UN say Drone strikes hit Goma in east Congo ​on Wednesday, killing at least three people including a French aid worker, the ‌first such attack in the city since AFC/M23 rebels seized it last year, according to the group and the U.N. The AFC/M23 blamed the attack on the Congolese army, saying in a post on X that Kinshasa ​had launched drones against a densely populated urban area in the lakeside city. A senior official for U.N. children's agency UNICEF told Reuters ​that one of its employees, a French national, was killed. French President Emmanuel Macron and Hadja Lahbib, ​European Commissioner for equality, preparedness and crisis management, condemned the attack in posts on X, calling for respect for international humanitarian law and saying aid workers must never be targeted.  ‘Olu Jacobs Is Alive And Doing Fine,’ Joke Silva Dispels Rumours Of Husband’s Dëäth


‘Olu Jacobs is alive’ – Betty Irabor, family debunk reports of Nollywood actor’s death

Founder of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor, has debunked news making the rounds that Nollywood veteran, Olu Jacobs, is dead.

There were rumours on social media that the seasoned thespian passed away at 82 years on Sunday.

Jacobs had been battling dementia for a while now.

But Irabor tweeted: “Olu Jacobs is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing.”

Jacobs’ family has also released a video to prove that the actor is alive.

Speaking last year, his wife, Joke Silva, said Jacob’s ailment had brought significant changes in her man.

She said: “It hasn’t been easy. There was a point of acceptance for me that everything happening is reality and it is like the person I married, 80 per cent of the time is no longer there.”

If this video is today then Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive.
