 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  POLICE ARREST MAN FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER



Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) yesterday night arrested one suspect for using a hammer to inflict serious injury to the head of a 65 years old man around Pako Bus Stop, Iyana Ipaja.


The suspect, Sodiq Ishola, 29 years old, was arrested around 8:30 p.m Monday at Iyana Ipaja area after he was restrained and arrested from inflicting further injuries to the head of his victim (name withheld).


Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that the suspect and one accomplice trailed the victim and his wife from Lagos Island on bike to Iyana Ipaja before Ishola descended on him.


He had inflicted severe injuries to the head of his victim before RRS operatives on patrol arrested him.


The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment while the suspect was transferred to RRS Headquaters in Alausa, Ikeja.


The Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Yinka Egbeyemi  has directed that the suspect be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) for further investigations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
