 Court Jails Two for N14.8m Fraud in Maiduguri Justice B.T Zannah of the Borno State High Court sitting in Maiduguri, on Monday, July 13, 2026 convicted and sentenced two to three years imprisonment. The convicts are: Babagana Bukar and Hauwa Chabri.  The convicts were arraigned on Monday, July 13, 2026 by the Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a separate one -count charge for the offence of criminal misappropriation to the tune of N14,800,000.00 (Fourteen  Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira). The charge against Bukar reads: "That you, Babagana Bukar sometimes in 2025 at Maiduguri, Borno State within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, dishonestly misappropriated and converted to your own use the aggregate sum of N8,800,000.00 (Eight Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira)  money belonging to Bunu Gambo Liman, being amount given to you through Babakura Umar and Bello Adamu for the supplies of 100 bags of IRS...

RHOA STAR KENYA MOORE FIRED FROM THE SHOW AS SHE CONFIRMED ON X THAT SHE IS STEPPING AWAY FROM THE REALITY SHOW. (PHOTOS).

Real housewives of Atlanta star Kenya confirmed on X after re-posted what  one of good friend Anthony Dominic shared on his X. 

 "Very proud of Kenya for stepping away from #RHOA. As a fan, it’s tough to see her go, but as a friend, I completely understand. To truly know Kenya is to truly love Kenya, and I hope more people get to see how amazing she is in her future endeavors. 🍑⚔️"

ACCORDING TO ANOTHER SOURCE:

As it turns out, Kenya Moore has been officially fired from RHOA,  Insiders told the outlet that production is trying to pull the scenes she has already taped, and there are no plans for her to return to the show or be involved in any other projects.

Now, Porsha Williams is slated to be the marquee star of the series ahead of Season 16, while other former stars like Phaedra Parks and Shereé Whitfield could return with their own peaches yet again.


Cynthia Bailey is already confirmed to return as a friend of the show, but she could also be upgraded to a full-time cast member. However, it’s not clear if that’s what she wants.

Kenya will not be returning for season 16 after she allegedly unveiled explicit photos of newcomer Brittany Eady during her hair spa opening.

Insiders told TMZ that Kenya Moore will be sitting out the rest of the season after production launched an investigation into her alleged actions.Sources also told the outlet that although there were claims that Brittany Eady allegedly threatened to use a firearm during her and Kenya’s heated exchange, that was never confirmed, and a gun was not at the actual event. Meanwhile, Kenya reportedly doesn’t feel like her concerns about safety and protection are taken seriously.
