 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.  25-Year-Old Bride Passes Away Months After Wedding😢


Endurance Japhet Gunat, a 25-year-old lady, has tragically passed away just seven months after her wedding. She got married to her husband, Gunat Japhet on December 9, 2023.


 Unfortunately, she did not get to enjoy her marriage for long, as she passed away shortly after. Her funeral will be held on Friday in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.


Friends and family are m0urn!ng her l0ss, including friend, Fuki Christian Daniel, who expressed his condolences on Facebook.


 "It's like I'm dreaming. My friend's wife is gone. Gunat Japhet, they were married on December 9, just two weeks after I got married at the same church. I feel very sad, seeing young people passing away daily. May God teach us to cherish our time with loved ones, as death is inevitable. Rest in peace, dear Endurance. May her soul rest in peace." She wrote.
