 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room.  25-Year-Old Bride Passes Away Months After Wedding😢


Endurance Japhet Gunat, a 25-year-old lady, has tragically passed away just seven months after her wedding. She got married to her husband, Gunat Japhet on December 9, 2023.


 Unfortunately, she did not get to enjoy her marriage for long, as she passed away shortly after. Her funeral will be held on Friday in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.


Friends and family are m0urn!ng her l0ss, including friend, Fuki Christian Daniel, who expressed his condolences on Facebook.


 "It's like I'm dreaming. My friend's wife is gone. Gunat Japhet, they were married on December 9, just two weeks after I got married at the same church. I feel very sad, seeing young people passing away daily. May God teach us to cherish our time with loved ones, as death is inevitable. Rest in peace, dear Endurance. May her soul rest in peace." She wrote.
