 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A RESCUE DOG SAVED HIS 86-YEAR-OLD HUMAN FROM A SAVAGE ATTACK BY A FULLY UNCLOTHED MAN. (PHOTO).

 A rescue dog saved his 86-year-old human from a savage attack by a fully unclothed man.


Ned Tarmey was letting his best friend Kane out in the yard of his Manchester, New Hampshire home for exercise last week when Kane proved his love and loyalty to his human. 


As Ned opened the door to let Kane go about his business, 55-year-old Donald Pierce broke into the backyard fully undressed. He hit Ned with a brick and began throwing rocks and lawn furniture at the elderly man while screaming he was going to take his life. 


This is when Kane switched into hero mode. He charged Pierce driving him to the ground. He then held the nude man down until police arrived and arrested him.


On Tuesday of this week hospital staff allowed Kane to come and check in on his human and it was a sweet and heart warming reunion.


Kane was rescued from a shelter just last year and I would say they picked the right pup to be Ned's companion. 


Donald Pierce is being charged with first degree assault, indecent exposure, cruelty to animals along  with several other charges.
