 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states.  Fans react as Davido storms Osun with Chioma's SUV wedding gift


Nigerian superstar singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has arrived in Osun State with the car he and his wife, Chioma, received as a wedding gift a month ago.

Recall that the couple was gifted a brand new SUV during their wedding in June, which many assumed was a present from Davido to Chioma.

Videos circulating online show Davido with the new GN8 MVP car at an event in Osun State.

Some clips capture his arrival in his hometown with heavy security, while others show him with his billionaire father, Deji Adeleke, his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, family members, and Yoruba actors like Laide Bakare and Sanyeri.

As expected, Osun State residents gathered around him, chanting his praises and his catchphrase, 001.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
