 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC).  ‘I couldn’t find love because I had Naira Marley’s tattoo on my body’ – Mandy Kiss


Nigerian skit maker and brand influencer, Mandy Ayomiposi Oluwada, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has claimed that she struggled to find love because she had a tattoo of embattled rapper Naira Marley on her thighs.

She said consequently she changed the tattoo to a flower.

The skit maker disclosed this in a recent interview with content creator, Egungun of Lagos.

“I changed the tattoo of Naira Marley’s face on my thighs to flower because of my personal life because I don’t want a situation where in the next few years I will be regretting not removing the tattoo a very long time,” Mandy said.

“It was affecting my relationship. Three of my boyfriends complained that they were not comfortable dating me with Naira Marley’s tattoo on my body,” she added.
