 Carrick favourite for Man Utd caretaker role Michael Carrick has emerged as favourite to be appointed Manchester United caretaker head coach, according to sources close to the process. Club chiefs are hoping to have an appointment in place for when players return to training on Wednesday. While a final decision is yet to be reached, talks are said to have progressed with the 44-year-old over the position. Carrick previously had a three-game stint as United's temporary boss following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal in 2021. He won two and drew one of those matches but left after Ralf Rangnick's arrival as interim manager. Solskjaer held face-to-face discussions with the club on Saturday about a return. United sacked Ruben Amorim as manager after 14 months in the job on 5 January.  I am like a China phone; I can’t be silenced” – Rita Edochie vows as she blows hot at those telling her to act matured


Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has addressed those telling her to mind her business with her nephew, Yul Edochie’s marital saga.


In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she prayed that those telling her such will have no one to fight for them when they need supporters. 


She noted how people tell her to behave like a mother, act mature and more. Unfortunately for them, she doesn’t care what their opinion about her entails, as it isn’t her business.


Rita made it clear that she loves everyone and doesn’t hate or discriminate; however, she dislikes evil and hates to see people being oppressed and intimidated.


Edochie noted how she has been called several unprintable names because she stands for truth. However, she wouldn’t back down, as she compares herself to a China phone, which is always loud and vowed never to be silenced.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
