 EASTER SECURITY ASSESSMENT: ANAMBRA POLICE EXPRESS CONCERN OVER MASKED SECURITY PERSONNEL PROTECTING VIPs, WARN OF SECURITY RISKS The Anambra State Police Command has expressed serious concern over the growing trend of some security operatives concealing their identities while providing protection to Very Important Personalities (VIPs) within the State. The Command notes that while security duties often require tactical discretion, the act of masking identities without proper authorization raises significant security concerns. Such practices, it observed, not only pose a potential threat to public safety but also undermine trust, accountability, and the integrity of inter-agency collaboration.  I took a break from Super Eagles – Ahmed Musa clears air on retirement


Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has clarified rumours that he has stepped aside from international duty.


Musa did not feature in any of Nigeria’s seven matches at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, where the team finished as runners-up.


The ex-CSKA Moscow winger last started a game for the national team in 2021 during a World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde.


He played 67 minutes in a 2-0 victory.


His most recent appearance was a seven-minute cameo in a friendly game against Guinea in January.


Musa has also been without a club since his contract with Turkish side Sivasspor was terminated in February.


But speaking with reporters after a friendly match he organized, Musa explained: “I only took a little break from the national team.


“But I didn’t exit the team.”.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
