  Portable breaks down in tears and apologizes again for slapping preacher Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, broke down in tears as he issued yet another apology following a confrontation with a preacher outside his bar. The singer's apology, which is his second in a row, comes after gospel singer Testimony Jaga gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize to the pastor or face unspecified consequences. The controversial street star explained that his reaction was due to a past traumatic experience involving his sister, who was once attacked by someone posing as a pastor. He added that he would not have slapped the preacher if he knew he was a "true man of God." However, in a recent video, Portable is seen on his knees crying profusely, as he expressed remorse for his actions against the preacher. NAFDAC CRACKS DOWN ON ILLEGAL BLEACHING CREAM, ARRESTS ONE IN BORNO. (PHOTO).

 


The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control in a step to combat the rising use of harmful bleaching creams in the northeastern part of the country raided a popular Monday market in Maiduguri arresting one Kabeer Mohammed for illegally mixing and selling high-concentration bleaching creams.


According to a post on NAFDAC's official X handle on Friday, the raid was part of a larger effort to curb the use of dangerous bleaching products in the region. 


The agency stated that it would impose appropriate sanctions on the arrested individual according to regulations.


They wrote: "To combat the rising use of harmful bleaching creams in the North East Zone, NAFDAC raided Maiduguri's popular Monday market, arresting Dr Kabeer Mohammed for illegally mixing and selling high-concentration bleaching creams.


"The Agency is set to impose appropriate sanctions according to regulations. Additionally, NAFDAC has launched a public enlightenment campaign to educate the citizens in the North-East on the dangers of using such products."
