  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician.  Nigerians like to see people suffer” – Kunle Remi calls out civil servants and retailers


Actor Kunle Remi seems to have gotten his last nerve ticked, as he took to social media to call out more than one set of workers in Nigeria.


He calmly started his video by saying that Nigerians like to see people suffer, because that is when they get the satisfaction that they’re doing their jobs properly.


The set of people that Kunle Remi hammered on the most were civil servants, as he went on to blast them for having people form long unnecessary queues outside their officers, over something that can be done within a short period of time.


Going forward, Kunle Remi also called out fuel stations over scarcity of petroleum in their stations, and the queues that motorists are forced to form.


Kunle Remi ended his video by saying that Nigerians don’t like it when their workplaces are quiet, and they derive joy in making everywhere rowdy.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
