 A 13-year-old Florida boy lost his life inside of a tube slide at a playground, leaving behind a shocked and grief-stricken family. The heartbreaking discovery was made when a father took his two children to Shenandoah Park in Miami on September 25th to work out some energy.  What they discovered when trying to use the tube slide may keep these young children from ever playing in an enclosed slide again. 13-year-old Olvin Ballladares was inside of the slide ...and unresponsive.  According to reports, Olvin had gone to the park that morning instead of school. While at the park, Olvin had attempted to slide down the tube slide. While traveling down the slide, Olvin's shirt became caught on a screw and pulled tight around his neck, cutting off his supply to oxygen.  From the way that he was discovered, it appears Olvin had realized what was happening and tried to free himself but was unable.  One dies, two survive in Anambra road accident


A fatal motor accident has claimed one life and left two others unhurt opposite the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Command in Nteje, along the Awka-Onitsha expressway in Anambra state.

The crash, which occurred around 9:30 am, involved a Toyota Camry with registration number ABJ125JV and a Ford Explorer with registration number ZBL626RL.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Camry driver lost control and collided with the Ford Explorer after crossing into its lane on the single-carriageway.

He said one male adult lost his life, while two other male adults were rescued uninjured.

He expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and urged motorists to stay alert and maintain full concentration while driving.

The eyewitness said: “A fatal road traffic crash happened opposite FRSC Command Nteje by Nteje-Awka-Onitsha Expressway.

“A driver identified as Chiweuba Evaristus Chidiebere with a private Toyota Camry with Registration Number: ABJ125JV, and an unidentified driver of a private Ford Explorer with registration number: ZBL626RL was involved in a fatal crash.

“Three male adults were involved in the crash. 1 male adult was killed. 2 male adults were rescued unhurt.

“FRSC rescue team from RS5.3 Nteje rushed the victim to Chira Hospital where he was confirmed dead by the doctor and his corpse was deposited at New Jerusalem mortuary Nteje.

“The team managed traffic and ensured obstruction caused by the crash was cleared.”
