 Peter Obi joins Archbishop Jude T. Omooo, in the foundation laying stone of sacred heart primary and secondary School in Ozubulu, promises monthly subvention until it is completed. Former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has reaffirmed his commitment to education with the laying of the foundation stone for the Sacred Heart Primary and Secondary School in Ozubulu. Obi performed the ceremony alongside the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo, describing the event as deeply fulfilling and a strong reminder of the transformative power of education in society. He announced his decision to support the school project through monthly financial subvention until its completion, noting that the gesture is aimed at ensuring the realization of the school’s vision, particularly for children who may lack access to quality education. SECRET SERVICE CHIEF RESIGNS AFTER TRUMP SHOOTING. (PHOTO).

The director of the Secret Service in the United States has stepped down from her job following the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump that unleashed an outcry about how the agency tasked with protecting current and former presidents could fail in its core mission.


Kimberly Cheatle has served as Secret Service director since August 2022.


Cheatle announced her departure in an email she sent to staff. 


She had been facing growing calls to resign and several investigations into how the shooter was able to get so close to the Republican presidential nominee at an outdoor campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
