 I’ll never support Peter Obi's presidential ambition - Seyi Law Popular stand-up comedian, Oluwaseyitan Lawrence Aletile, also known as Seyi Law has vowed never to support the presidential ambition of former Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi.   In an interview on Tejubabyface show, Seyi Law attributed his reasons to Obi's failure to call the Obidient movement to order, particularly after its supporters allegedly attacked his wife and children due to his support for President Bola Tinubu. Seyi Law expressed deep resentment, stating that the attack on his family crossed a boundary that makes forgiveness impossible.  He emphasised that Peter Obi's refusal to admit and reprimand the Obidients for their actions solidifies his decision.  Seyi Law said: “I don’t feel down at all because when you talk too much, I swear for you.  TROOPS NEUTRALIZE 11 ISWAP TERRORISTS IN SAMBISA FOREST, CAPTURE WEAPONS



Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for special clearance operation in Sambisa Forest, in a coordinated effort with a hybrid force conducted special clearance operations in an identified terrorists' enclave in Jongo Village within the notorious Sambisa Forest eliminating 11 ISWAP terrorists.  


The troops targeting the terrorists enclave  made contact with the terrorists, engaging them in a fierce gun battle, which resulted in the elimination of the terrorists, while others to fled in disarray.


The troops further conducted exploitation ahead of the enclave, leading to the capture of some arms. The arms include  99 rounds of 7.62 x 54mm on metal link, 19 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm, 3 AK-47 rifle magazines, two 36 Hand grenades, and 2 locally made guns.


This successful operation showcases the operational effectiveness of the Nigerian Army in combating terrorism and securing in the region. The neutralization of ISWAP terrorists and the confiscation of their weapons will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing security and stability in the area, further demonstrating the commitment of the Nigerian military to eradicating terrorism and protecting the citizens.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
