 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

$1M FRAUD: EFCC ARRESTS SYNDICATE IMPERSONATING OLUKOYEDE. (PHOTO).#PRESS RELEASE

 $1million Fraud:   EFCC Arrests Syndicate Impersonating Olukoyede

 

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  have arrested a four-man syndicate of alleged fraudsters impersonating and blackmailing  the Executive Chairman of the Commission,  Mr. Ola Olukoyede in a $1million deal.


The fraudsters: Ojobo Joshua,  Aliyu Hashim,  Thomas Oduh and Paul Ogiji were arrested on Wednesday,  August 28, 2024 at Gimbiya Street, Garki and Apo Legislative Quarters,  Abuja.


The alleged fraudsters contacted a former Managing Director of the Nigeria Port Authority, NPA, Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko claiming his indictment in some phony investigative activities of the EFCC during his tenure as the MD of NPA. 


They alleged that Olukoyede was ready to give him a soft landing for $1million or risk being arrested and prosecuted.


On receipt of intelligence regarding the moves of the impersonators,  operatives of the Commission were deployed  to play along with the alleged fraudsters. They were successfully arrested and in custody of the Commission.


They would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
