 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. A FLORIDA DOCTOR HAS SHARED A SHOCKING IMAGE HIGHLIGHTING THE DANGERS OF CONSUMING UNDERCOOKED PORK (PHOTO).

 A Florida doctor has shared a shocking image highlighting the dangers of consuming undercooked pork.


Sam Ghail, a doctor at the University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, posted a stomach churning CT scan on August 25th.


In the image you see a patient from the waist down with a parasitic infection in the muscles.


In the post, Dr. Ghail explains this patient has been diagnosed with "Cysticercosis".


The cause of the affliction is from a tapeworm infection that can affect the brain, muscle and other tissues. 


Humans become unwilling hosts to these parasites by ingesting cysts in under cooked pork. Once ingested, the larvae enter the bloodstream and spread from there.


It can also be spread through tapeworm infected excrement, dirty hands or contaminated water or food.  They first appear as rice grain calcifications, but can become full-grown tapeworms after 5 to 12 weeks.


 It is Labor Day weekend, please be sure to thoroughly cook your delicious pork chops, tenderloins and brats!
