  NBC bans Eedris Abdulkareem’s protest song ‘Tell Your Papa’ from radio, TV The National Broadcasting Commission has barred Nigerian radio and television stations from airing the trending song “Tell Your Papa” by veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, citing its “objectionable nature.” In a memo dated April 9, 2025 and issued by the Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring, Susan Obi, the commission declared the track Not To Be Broadcast (NTBB) under Section 3.1.8 of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code. This section prohibits content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of public decency from being aired on Nigerian broadcast platforms. According to the NBC, while the song has gained momentum across social media platforms, its lyrical content fails to meet the standards of responsible broadcasting. A FLORIDA DOCTOR HAS SHARED A SHOCKING IMAGE HIGHLIGHTING THE DANGERS OF CONSUMING UNDERCOOKED PORK (PHOTO).

 A Florida doctor has shared a shocking image highlighting the dangers of consuming undercooked pork.


Sam Ghail, a doctor at the University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, posted a stomach churning CT scan on August 25th.


In the image you see a patient from the waist down with a parasitic infection in the muscles.


In the post, Dr. Ghail explains this patient has been diagnosed with "Cysticercosis".


The cause of the affliction is from a tapeworm infection that can affect the brain, muscle and other tissues. 


Humans become unwilling hosts to these parasites by ingesting cysts in under cooked pork. Once ingested, the larvae enter the bloodstream and spread from there.


It can also be spread through tapeworm infected excrement, dirty hands or contaminated water or food.  They first appear as rice grain calcifications, but can become full-grown tapeworms after 5 to 12 weeks.


 It is Labor Day weekend, please be sure to thoroughly cook your delicious pork chops, tenderloins and brats!

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
