 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. CRIME: Apprehension of 21-Year-Old Orchestrating Fake Robbery to Sell Tricycle, Set to Face Court


On August 20, 2024, the police operatives at 'C' Police Divisional headquarters took action and successfully arrested four individuals involved in a criminal conspiracy and attempted misappropriation of a tricycle.


The tricycle, with registration number BAU 401 WB and body number 3566, was discovered in suspicious circumstances at Madina Quarters and reported to the 'C' Divisional Police Headquarters. Upon receiving the report, the Divisional Police Officer promptly led a team to the scene and apprehended four young men who were found attempting to dismantle and steal the tricycle.


Upon further investigation, it was uncovered that the prime suspect, Muwafaqa Auwal, 21 years old, had conspired to fake a robbery of the tricycle. He had been entrusted with the tricycle by a neighbour for commercial use within the metropolitan area, but instead of honouring the agreement, he planned to stage a robbery and sell the tricycle.


The Bauchi State Police Command is committed to upholding law and order in the state and urges the public to collaborate with the command by reporting any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
