 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. CRIME: Apprehension of 21-Year-Old Orchestrating Fake Robbery to Sell Tricycle, Set to Face Court


On August 20, 2024, the police operatives at 'C' Police Divisional headquarters took action and successfully arrested four individuals involved in a criminal conspiracy and attempted misappropriation of a tricycle.


The tricycle, with registration number BAU 401 WB and body number 3566, was discovered in suspicious circumstances at Madina Quarters and reported to the 'C' Divisional Police Headquarters. Upon receiving the report, the Divisional Police Officer promptly led a team to the scene and apprehended four young men who were found attempting to dismantle and steal the tricycle.


Upon further investigation, it was uncovered that the prime suspect, Muwafaqa Auwal, 21 years old, had conspired to fake a robbery of the tricycle. He had been entrusted with the tricycle by a neighbour for commercial use within the metropolitan area, but instead of honouring the agreement, he planned to stage a robbery and sell the tricycle.


The Bauchi State Police Command is committed to upholding law and order in the state and urges the public to collaborate with the command by reporting any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
