 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults.  Cameroonian Actress "Mami Ton" in Critical Condition Following Stroke


Cameroonian actress Céline Orgelle Kentsop, better known by her stage name "Mami Ton," is currently in critical condition after suffering a severe stroke. According to a family source, she has been unconscious since last Saturday and is receiving intensive care at the Douala General Hospital.


The beloved actress experienced a hemorrhagic stroke during a ceremony last weekend. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where medical professionals have been working tirelessly to stabilize her condition.


As news of her condition spreads, fans and colleagues have expressed their deep concern for her well-being. Many have taken to social media, urging others to join in prayer for her recovery. While visits to the hospital are currently restricted, her family is encouraging supporters to reach out through her daughter, Nadage Mirette.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
