 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Cameroonian Actress "Mami Ton" in Critical Condition Following Stroke


Cameroonian actress Céline Orgelle Kentsop, better known by her stage name "Mami Ton," is currently in critical condition after suffering a severe stroke. According to a family source, she has been unconscious since last Saturday and is receiving intensive care at the Douala General Hospital.


The beloved actress experienced a hemorrhagic stroke during a ceremony last weekend. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where medical professionals have been working tirelessly to stabilize her condition.


As news of her condition spreads, fans and colleagues have expressed their deep concern for her well-being. Many have taken to social media, urging others to join in prayer for her recovery. While visits to the hospital are currently restricted, her family is encouraging supporters to reach out through her daughter, Nadage Mirette.


Family Statement:


"Good evening to all. Last Saturday, the actress Mami Ton suffered a hemorrhagic stroke during a ceremony. She has been in an unconscious state and is currently receiving care in the intensive care unit at Douala General Hospital.
