 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Egypt President Sisi welcomes Foreign Minister of Türkiye amid normalization of relations


Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi met with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdel Atty and the Turkish Ambassador in Cairo.


Fidan’s visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties between Turkey and Egypt, which have seen significant improvement in recent years, in addition to discussing the preparation for an upcoming visit by el-Sisi to Ankara.


The meeting focused also on the latest regional developments and warnings of the dangerous escalation in the region.
