 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Obaseki Approves Appointment Of Civil Service Commission Members, Two Perm Secs

The appointments are subject to the confirmation of the Edo State House of Assembly..


The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of members of the Edo State Civil Service Commission with Lalla Aluyi as Chairman. The governor also approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries in the Edo State Public Service..


The appointments were contained in two separate statements signed by the Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa..


On the Civil Service Commission, Okungbowa said: “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that, His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki has, in line with his powers under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, approved the appointment of the following persons as Members of the Edo State Civil Service Commission:

“Lalla Aluyi, as Chairman; Ehi Obaseki, member; Gilbert Adegboyega, member; Julie Olatunji, member and Margaret Ohiowele, member.”
