 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem.  Obaseki Approves Appointment Of Civil Service Commission Members, Two Perm Secs

The appointments are subject to the confirmation of the Edo State House of Assembly..


The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of members of the Edo State Civil Service Commission with Lalla Aluyi as Chairman. The governor also approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries in the Edo State Public Service..


The appointments were contained in two separate statements signed by the Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa..


On the Civil Service Commission, Okungbowa said: “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that, His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki has, in line with his powers under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, approved the appointment of the following persons as Members of the Edo State Civil Service Commission:

“Lalla Aluyi, as Chairman; Ehi Obaseki, member; Gilbert Adegboyega, member; Julie Olatunji, member and Margaret Ohiowele, member.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
