  Oyo Governor Makinde Imposes Overnight Motorcycle Ban to Combat Insecurity, Abductions Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has issued a stringent Executive Order restricting motorcycle operations across the state between 10:30 pm and 5:30 am daily. The decisive measure, announced on Friday, is a direct response to escalating insecurity, particularly following the recent abductions of school children and teachers. Governor Makinde emphasized that the state government remains relentless in its efforts to secure the safe return of all kidnapped victims. He conveyed the deep pain and anxiety felt by their families and the entire state each day the captives remain in detention.
