 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Modi Meets Zelensky in Kyiv Weeks After Moscow Talks with Putin


Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ukraine on Friday for talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky, just weeks after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The visit has drawn attention, especially since some Western capitals and Kyiv reacted strongly to Modi's earlier trip to Russia in July. Ukrainian President Zelensky was notably critical, expressing his disappointment by stating, "I was disappointed to see the leader of the world's largest democracy hug the world's most bloody criminal in Moscow."


While some speculate that Modi's visit to Kyiv might be an attempt to placate Zelensky and other Western leaders, this isn't the whole story. India's foreign policy often involves balancing relationships between competing nations or blocs, a reflection of its longstanding non-alignment stance in global geopolitics. This approach has allowed India to navigate complex international relations without fully aligning with any particular side.
