 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Nwabali signs contract extension at Chippa United, named new captain


South African Premier Soccer League club, Chippa United on Thursday announced goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has signed a contract extension.


Nwabali, according to the Chilli Boys, put pen to paper on a three-year contract.


Chippa United also announced that the shot-stopper will be their new captain.


“We are pleased to announce that Stanley Nwabali has signed an improved three-year contract with Chippa United FC,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.


“We are incredibly proud of Stanley’s dedication and commitment to the club. His leadership on and off the field has been exemplary, and we believe he is the right person to guide our team through the challenges ahead. With this being said Stanley will be our new team captain for the upcoming season. ”


The goaltender joined Chippa United from Nigeria Premier Football League side, Katsina United in 2022.


The 28-year-old quickly established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.


Nwabali caught the eye with his impressive performance for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
