 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. OHIO MOTHER LANDS BEHIND BARS AFTER A VIDEO GOES VIRAL SHOWING HER DISTURBING INTERACTION WITH HER BABY. (PHOTO).

 Ohio mother lands behind bars after a video goes viral showing her disturbing interaction with her baby.


21-year-old Haley Ryan from Montgomery County, Ohio, has been booked into jail with formal charges pending. The arrest comes after a video began making rounds on social media. This prompted numerous calls to the Montgomery County Sheriff's office, some from as far away as Texas. All of the callers were demanding justice for the baby seen in the video.


According to reports, the video shows Ryan leaning over a crib before shrieking at the baby inside of the crib. After this it appears Ryan is striking the baby inside of the crib multiple times. She then storms away and the person recording (presumably the father) is seen going to check on the baby before the video ends.


The child is less than 1-year-old and the incident occurred inside of the father's apartment in Harrison Township. Police say it is still a very active investigation and the father could face charges for failure to report or intervene. 


The child is now safe, happy, and in protective custody.  Haley Ryan is being held on $25,000 bond and is due in court August 21st.


What charges do you believe the father should face? On one hand, he provided the overwhelming evidence and on the other hand he did not intervene.
