  Portable breaks down in tears and apologizes again for slapping preacher Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, broke down in tears as he issued yet another apology following a confrontation with a preacher outside his bar. The singer's apology, which is his second in a row, comes after gospel singer Testimony Jaga gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize to the pastor or face unspecified consequences. The controversial street star explained that his reaction was due to a past traumatic experience involving his sister, who was once attacked by someone posing as a pastor. He added that he would not have slapped the preacher if he knew he was a "true man of God." However, in a recent video, Portable is seen on his knees crying profusely, as he expressed remorse for his actions against the preacher. Police Exhume Bodies of Kidnapped Marine Hunters in Akwa Ibom



The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has exhumed the bodies of marine hunters from the Ministry of Internal Security and Inland Waterways who were kidnapped, murdered, and buried by notorious criminals in Unyenghe, Mbo Local Government Area. The command’s spokesperson, Timfon John, disclosed on Friday that the bodies were discovered in shallow graves after the police received information about the crime. “The command’s operatives, upon getting the information, embarked on a hot chase of the suspects and arrested the following suspects: Anthony Archibong, Emmanuel Emmanuel Otoyo, Daniel Edet Okon, Eniete Harry Tom, and Joseph Okon,” John said.


The police also arrested the Village Head of Utit Antai, Chief Okon Asuquo Eteokpo, who was allegedly providing spiritual fortification for the suspects. John added, "Chief Okon Asuquo Eteokpo, said to be their ally and spiritual fortifier, was arrested alongside the suspects, and a total of 15 live cartridges were recovered from them." According to the police statement, the bodies were found after hours of intensive searching by a combined team from the command, with the corpses buried in shallow graves and their heads dismembered.


The Akwa Ibom State Police Command reassured the public of its commitment to eradicating crime in the state. The statement urged residents to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station. “The command has again reassured members of the public of their intentional determination to rid the State of crime and criminal elements," John emphasized.
