  Portable breaks down in tears and apologizes again for slapping preacher Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, broke down in tears as he issued yet another apology following a confrontation with a preacher outside his bar. The singer's apology, which is his second in a row, comes after gospel singer Testimony Jaga gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize to the pastor or face unspecified consequences. The controversial street star explained that his reaction was due to a past traumatic experience involving his sister, who was once attacked by someone posing as a pastor. He added that he would not have slapped the preacher if he knew he was a "true man of God." However, in a recent video, Portable is seen on his knees crying profusely, as he expressed remorse for his actions against the preacher.  Police Summon NLC President Joe Ajaero Over Allegations of Criminal Conspiracy and Terrorism Financing


The Nigeria Police Force has officially summoned Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), for questioning in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.


The letter of invitation, issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Guzape District, Abuja, was dated August 19, 2024. It specifically directed Ajaero to report to the IRT Complex, Old Abattoir, Guzape Junction, Abuja, by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.


The letter warned that failure to honor the invitation could lead to the activation of a warrant for Ajaero’s arrest.


The investigation is being handled by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) under the leadership of ACP Adamu S. Mu’azu.
