 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF DIGITAL BRIDGE INSTITUTE AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS OF NIGCOMSAT


President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Daser David as the new President/Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI).


Mr. David is an academic and industry expert with a deep understanding of digital technologies and educational leadership.


The President has also approved the appointment of Mr. Reuben Oshomah as Executive Director, Marketing, Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT), and Mrs. Adama Kure, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, (NIGCOMSAT).


Mr. Oshomah has extensive experience in communications satellite marketing and strategic business development, while Mrs. Kure is a seasoned finance professional with a strong record in financial management and corporate governance.


The President expects the newly appointed officers to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear in driving the strategic vision for these institutions.
