Prince William and Harry reunited at their uncle's funeral

At their uncle's funeral,Prince William and Prince Harry reunited following the Duke of Sussex’s covert trip to the UK. A close friend of the family expressed their happiness at confirming both princes were there.

Lord Fellowes, 82, passed away on 29 July. He was married to Princess Diana’s older sister and served as Queen Elizabeth II’s private secretary for several years.

It is believed to be the first time that the two brothers have publicly seen each other since King Charles’ Coronation last May.

William and Harry were present to bid their uncle farewell, but they were not seen interacting. The princes went to their mother Diana's brother-in-law, Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral discreetly. In Snettisham, Norfolk, they were rumoured to have sat separately at the rear of the church. Harry is based in the US. Sources close to him had earlier stated he wouldn't be there.

Another source described how they only got to see them after St. Mary's Church service. They entered very subtly. No one ever saw William and Harry speak to each other, and they were keeping their distance, a local said in addition.

Their encounter comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales’s end-of-summer plans have been revealed ahead of William’s return to duty on 5 September.

The couple took to social media to share that they are “looking forward to” watching the Paralympic Games.

“Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport!” they said in a joint Twitter/X post. “Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and all those competing at #Paris2024.”.

ACCORDING TO ANOTHER SOURCE:

The Prince of Wales attended the funeral of his late uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes this Wednesday. The service was held at St Mary's Church in Snettisham, Norfolk and it has been reported that Prince Harry was also there.

According to the journal Prince William and Harry "kept their distance" at their uncle's funeral as they saw each other for the first time since King Charles' coronation. A source told The Sun the pair were spotted at the back of St Mary's church in Snettisham, Norfolk.

"William and Harry were both there but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance," they said.

Another added: "I didn’t know they were there. They arrived very discreetly.”

Lord Fellowes was married to Princess Diana's sister, Lady Jane Fellowes, and was private secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II
