 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room.  Protest: Fight in me died during EndSars – Burna Boy breaks silence


Afrobeat multi-award-winner Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has broken his silence over the nationwide hunger protest.


Recall Nigerians on Thursday hit the streets to express their dissatisfaction over bad governance and the hike in food prices by way of protest.


Taking to his X account on Thursday, Burna Boy said that the fight in him for protest died on October 20, 2020 during the EndSARS protest.


He warned his fans against calling his name this time around that a protest is rife across the country.


He wrote, while quoting a tweet he posted on October 20, 2020, “The fight in me Died on this day. Ogun go doggy anybody wey call my name this time around.


The 'Higher' crooner went on to take a dig at Nigerian politicians like the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, claiming they don't keep to their promises.


Taking to his X handle again, he wrote: 


"No politician has ever given anything. Go ask wike where the land him give me or which money him give me. You think I’m your faves. 😂".
