 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer. RAPPER NELLY ARRESTED TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD CASINO. (PHOTO).

 St. Louis rapper Nelly was arrested at the Hollywood Casino early Wednesday morning.


According to reports Cornell Hayes AKA "Nelly" was arrested by Missouri Highway Patrol around 4:45 am Wednesday morning.  He is being charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers found several ecstasy pills in his possession. He was also charged for no insurance and failure to appear on a previous traffic charge.


There is no further information on whether he has been released or not at this time.
