 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. RAPPER, RICK ROSS FACES LAWSUIT OVER WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY FOR THE DISABLED. (PHOTO).

 Rapper, Rick Ross faces lawsuit over wheelchair accessibility for the disabled


Rick Ross, an American rapper and record executive, is being sued by a disabled man named Darris Straughter, who claims that his Car & Bike Show was not wheelchair accessible.


Straughter alleges he was unable to attend the event despite purchasing a ticket and informing organizers of his requirements two weeks ahead of time.


The plaintiff, who has been incapacitated since 2018, claims that the organizers promised refunds for those who could not attend the event but did not follow through.


Straughter is seeking damages and a court order forcing future events to provide adequate disability access.


The action, filed by attorney John Hoover Esq., accuses Ross of breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violating the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).
