 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

 Boyfriend allegedly kills girlfriend at NWU Vaal Campus before taking his own life


According to MDM news, the North-West University (NWU) Vaal Campus is mourning the tragic loss of 22-year-old Mamohlotsi Rebecca Nchabeleng. 


She was a fourth-year BEd student from Tafelkop who was allegedly found deceased in her room at a private residence on Monday, August 19, 2024. 


This devastating news comes just a day after a fatal car accident claimed the lives of six NWU Vaal Campus students.


Nchabeleng's body was allegedly discovered following the death of her non-NWU student boyfriend in Sharpeville. 


He was reportedly found deceased with a suicide note that revealed the location of Nchabeleng. 


Sergeant Sabelo Sigcu, the spokesperson for Vanderbijlpark Police, confirmed the opening of a murder case and ongoing investigations into the matter. 


The boyfriend's family allegedly alerted the police after discovering him deceased by hanging at his home. His suicide note allegedly disclosed that he had taken Nchabeleng's life before ending his own.
