 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Singer Portable injured, robbed by 'area boys' in Lagos


Nigerian street-pop artiste Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to share disturbing videos of injuries he sustained during a recent attack at an event in Lagos.

Portable, known for his controversial public persona, revealed in his post that he and his team were assaulted by a group of individuals identified as “Egbon Adugbo” at an event in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos State.


The singer was reportedly attending a celebration for a friend who is a car vendor when the incident occurred.

According to Portable, his presence and behavior at the event drew unwanted attention, leading to a violent confrontation.


In his social media statement,Portable disclosed that the attackers not only inflicted severe injuries but also made off with several pieces of his expensive jewelry.

The robbers also stole two iPhones belonging to one of his managers, an ATM card, one of Portable’s cars, and various other personal items.


This attack comes after Portable’s recent social media celebration of the birth of his manager’s Babyluv’s first child


A video that he shared shows him being lifted with effort and made to sit on a couch after supposedly being assaulted.
