Two Truck Drivers Found Dead in Fuel Tanker

Nsam, a quiet town in Yaoundé, was rocked by tragedy on August 27, 2024, when two truck drivers were discovered dead inside the fuel compartment of a transport truck.

The incident has left both the local community and authorities deeply concerned and seeking answers.

The discovery was made by fellow drivers, who found their colleagues unresponsive within the tanker's storage area. While the exact details are still under investigation, reports from Cameroon News Agency suggest that one driver may have been attempting to illegally siphon fuel, a dangerous act that may have spiraled out of control.

When the second driver attempted to help, the situation turned fatal for both.

Authorities are conducting a full investigation to uncover the exact cause of this heartbreaking incident. At the time of reporting, the identities of the deceased had not been made public.
