 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. UK, US, ETC, DELEGATES ARRIVE OSUN FOR TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL.(PHOTO).


 UK, US delegates arrive Osun for traditional festival. 

Delegates from the United States of America, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Cuba, as well as, Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday stormed Osogbo, Osun State to attend annual convention of ‘Peers of Heaven’ group, otherwise known in Yoruba language as ‘Emere.’


A delegate from United States, who identified herself as Osunsola, who was attending the festival for the fourth time, said though she was born and raised in US, she was able to establish her Nigerian nationality and Yoruba heritage through DNA..


Osunsola, who commended the organisers of the festival, further said, ‘Peers of Heavens’ are helpers of their earthly colleagues, and should be respected and pampered..
