 Zambia parliament passes disputed bill to change election laws Zambia's parliament overwhelmingly passed on Monday a bill to modify constitutional provisions related to elections. The opposition claims it will bolster President Hakainde Hichilema at next year's polls, but the government rejects the assertions, with President Hichilema stating that the changes are proposed in good faith for the long-term benefits to the Zambian people. Opposition politicians, civil society and church groups had lobbied against Bill 7, saying it was rushed through parliament and will promote Hichilema and his UPND party at the August 2026 vote, AFP reported. The bill amends 13 articles in the constitution of the copper-rich Southern African nation, notably increasing the number of parliamentary seats from 156 to 226; reserving 35 seats for women, youth and disabled people; and ending a limit of two five-year terms for mayors.  'Who are his real children?': Man claims to be 'secret son' of King Charles, demands 4-way paternity test


Simon Charles Dorante-Day, a man claiming to be the illegitimate child of King Charles and Queen Camilla has taken to Facebook, renewing his claim that he is the illegitimate son of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. 


British-born Simon Charles Dorante-Day now lives in Australia and thinks he is the illegitimate son of Charles and Queen Camilla. Mr Dorante-Day previously claimed his adoptive mother, who used to work for Queen Elizabeth II, told him he was Charles and Camilla's son on her deathbed.


He was adopted when he was about eight-months-old in 1966 in Portsmouth – Charles would have been 17 and Camilla 18 at the time.


Unsurprisingly, he has received radio silence from the Royal Family over the years, having made repeated requests for DNA tests. But that hasn't stopped him trying to prove his royal heritage


But now he's back, and has claimed that if you take images of himself, Prince William, Prince Harry and King Charles together then you can see that the “left side” of his face “identically matches” King Charles – but goes on to state that neither of the princes do.

Taking to Facebook, he ranted: “I believe a four-way Paternity test is the only way to resolve this issue once and for all. The truth of the game that has been played by the Monarchy, the Government, and the Establishment for 58 years needs to be exposed.


The lies and corruption must be uncovered for what they are, criminal activity. Awarding yourself and accepting a 50% pay rise doesn’t demonstrate much remorse for what has occurred. Nor does it demonstrate any intention to resolve this issue or change direction any time soon.

“It's not just what happened to me as a child, and what I remember from growing up in England, but it’s also what’s happened since to myself, my wife, and my children in Australia that supports our argument.


These covert and illegitimate activities that are targeted towards us constantly are an attempt to stop us on this journey, nothing more. They will not succeed. They will only strengthen our argument and provides us with evidence to demonstrate what has occurred, in a Court room, to judges.”


Mr Dorante-Day has more than 27,000 followers on Facebook, many of whom believe he is the King and Queen's illegitimate child.
