 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families.  AmaZulu Bolster Goalkeeping Ranks with Richard Ofori Signing

Durban-based AmaZulu Football Club has announced the capture of experienced Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori on a permanent deal. The 30-year-old free agent joins the Usuthu after a stint with Orlando Pirates.


Ofori, a seasoned international with Ghana, brings valuable expertise between the posts, bolstering AmaZulu's goalkeeping department. His signing is a significant boost to the team's quest for success the season that has already began with AmaZulu losing both matches.


In a statement made by AmaZulu FC "AmaZulu Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Richard Ofori on a permanent basis". "The Ghanaian goalkeeper has commenced training with the squad, eager to revive his career and contribute to the team's success", the club stated.


Ofori's arrival is expected to intensify competition for the starting goalkeeper spot, pushing the team to greater heights. AmaZulu will play their third game of the season versus Marumo Gallants FC, Saturday afternoon.
