Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive.  Gov Bala Mohammed Appoints Haruna Yunusa Danyaya as 16th Emir of Ningi


Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has appointed Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya  as 16th  Emir of Ningi.


The appointment letter was conveyed by the secretary to the state government Barrister Ibrahim Kashim who led a delegation to Ningi Emir's Palace.


The development came eight days after the death of his father Alhaji Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya who died at a hospital in Kano during a protracted illness.


He congratulated the new Emir for the appointment and urged him to discharge his responsibilities in the best interest of his subjects.


Until his appointment as the new Emir of Ningi, Haruna Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya was the District Head of Ningi.


Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Danyaya applied for the position alongside twenty two other contenders.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
