 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

 BENUE: PRIEST AND CHURCH ELDERS ALLEGEDLY BEATS BOY FOR STEALING

This happened in Konshsha LGA, Benue State. It's alleged that a particular Catholic Church, the Priest and church elders béát this boy mercilessly, accused him of stealing from church offertory, handled him over to volunteer guard that almost ended the boy's life this way? 


According to report from the family, the boy was serving the church, after mass on that particular day, monies gathered from church as offertory were collected by three boys including this particular boy.


Much later, the priest discovered some shortage in the money, summoned all the boys for defense and a finger was pointed on this one because he left during the counting period to use the toilet.


Well, I'm trying my best to hear from the alleged church and Priest before concluding. I guess he missed my calls twice but yet to return the call. 


I've gathered all evidence from the family already; voice notes, videos etc 


Truly, if this is coming from the church then we aren't safe even in the church. Church offertory is for God and God is a Merciful God, he can choose to help sinners who are  members of church with church offertory....if you want to check how men of God used church money for themselves and family 🤔

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
