 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja.  Edo Decides 2024: Labour Party’s Akpata loses polling unit


The Labour Party gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, has been defeated in his polling unit.

DAILY POST reported that Akpata alongside the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress are the leading contenders of the Edo State number one sit.

The PDP candidate scored 41 votes to beat his closest challenger, Akpata who scored 31 votes in his own PU.

The APC recorded 19 votes.

PDP: 41

LP: 32

APC: 19

Upon casting his vote, Akpata had described his voting experience as “seamless”.

He, however, said that his wish is that every other voter in the state will have the same seamless experience as he did.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
