 Beloved actor Ras Ajai, 47, 'shot dead' while walking down a street A beloved film star and musician has di£d. Ras Ajai, whose real name was Brian Todd Boucher, played JLP political enforcer Claudie Massop in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love biopic. He was reportedly shot in Waterford, St. Catherine, Jamaica, at the age of 47. He rubbed shoulders with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they arrived at the movie's Jamaican premiere. Another person is reported to have sustained injuries during the assault, which remains under investigation by St Catherine South Police. Sources say the reggae and dancehall artist, vocalist and composer was walking down a street with a companion on Saturday, August 1, when they were attacked by armed criminals travelling in a vehicle.  Education Minister's phone line hacked


The Federal Ministry of Education has confirmed that the phone line of the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, has been hacked.


The Director of the Director of Press and Public Relations of the ministry, Boriowo Folasade, confirmed this on Friday morning.


Earlier Mamman had issued a disclaimer about the hacked line on his X handle.


He wrote: “My phone line has been compromised. Please refrain from calling the number and ignore any messages requesting assistance until the issue is resolved.


“Thank you for your understanding”.


The statement by the ministry’s spokesperson, said the hackers were already used the line.


“The Office of the Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, wishes to inform the general public that the Minister’s WhatsApp number has been hacked and is currently being used by unauthorised individuals.


“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and urge everyone to disregard any message of request received from the said number until further notice.


“The matter has been reported to the relevant authorities and is under investigation. We advise all members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity,” the statement read.
